Liebherr Construction Cranes Texas

Liebherr Construction Cranes Texas

The Liebherr family business was started in the year 1949 by Hans Liebherr. The business first gained fame from its mobile tower crane which was well-known for its affordability and ease of assembly. It was upon this creation that the foundation of the company flourished under. Now, Liebherr has grown to become amongst the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment. The company has also earned the reputation of being the accredited supplier of technically innovative user-oriented products and services in a range of fields. The business has now become a "Group" working in each and every continent with over 130 companies and more than 35,000 workers across the world.

The Liebherr Group has been divided into different company units so as to guarantee a manageable operating size. These individual units operate independently. This specific set up enables the company the ability to stay in tune with global competition and be flexible to market signals. In addition, having so many individual company units also ensures customer proximity and keeps customer service running at an optimum level.

The divisional control companies handle the production for the individual product segments and the operative management of the sales companies. The Liebherr Group now has ten various product divisions.

Liebherr Group's holding company is Liebherr-International AG. Liebherr-International AG is situated in Bulle, Switzerland and is operating by the Liebherr family members. At present, the family business is being managed in the second generation by Dr. H.C. Isolde Liebherr and her brother Dr. H.C. Willi Liebherr. Since 2012, some of the active individual divisions have been represented by 3rd generation members of the family such as: Sophie Albrecht, Jan Liebherr, Patricia Ruf and Stefanie Wohlfarth. These family members have been working hard together in order to help set up the course of the family business in the future. They are staying on top of residential buildings and large-scale industrial projects across the globe.

Hans Liebherr began this quest during 1949, with his first business in the tiny South-German town of Kirchdorf/Iller. These days, Kirchdorf is amongst over 20 key manufacturing sites of the Liebherr Group. They employ more than 1400 individuals in that specific workforce and can average a yearly output of roughly 2800 wheeled excavators. The company has enjoyed diversity and immense growth since it first opened its doors. The Liebherr Group continues to remain devoted to making and implementing innovative designs. They have earned a positive and successful place within the material handling industry.
